After placing everything in, just like it were done, measure with a dial indicator.
Notice on the opposite side of the ring from the dial indicator, this is the spacer ring type. The straps
that hold the bearings in do not adjust. If you find that there are adjustment nuts were these straps are,
you don't have as much of a worry.
The Dana 60 which we have here uses spacer rings to set up. The 14 bolt rear end is one type of axle
that uses the adjustment nuts. It is slightly stronger and easier to set up, but the chunk is slightly larger
which tends to grab more earth, leaving you hung by your chunk.
